ECOLOGY
Ecology is the study of the relations of organisms to one another and to the enviornment that surrounds them. In simpler terms, it is the study of living things, their enviornment, and the relation between the two. Within an ecosystem are biotic and abiotic factors. A biotic factor is a living factor in the enviornment. An abiotic factor is a nonliving object that has an effect on the enviornment. If an abiotic factor is removed, all living organisms that are dependent on them are affected.

Saddle Brook County Park is filled with varieties of wildlife along with many places to visit. This is not your average park as it stretches through various towns in Bergen County. You can find a numerous amount of species of birds, fish, and other animals. The park includes a trail that circles the perimeter which is surrounded by woods, and in the center of the park is a pond. Some of the things you can find within the park are basketball courts, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, a pool, and a playground for kids.
