Levels of Organization
Within every ecosystem there are different levels of organization. The first and smallest level is the individual organism. The second level are the population, and the third level are the communties.

An organism is an animal or a plant that has all the characteristics of life.
Organism - Goose
A population is numerous amounts of individuals that belong to the same species.

Population - Geese

A community is an assemblage of different populations that live together in a defined area.
Community - Geese, Bushes, Poison Ivy, Grass, and Flowers
