Symbiosis is the interaction between to biotic factors in any environment. It usually occurs between to organisms living in close physical association. It can either be to the advantage of both or the adavantage of only one. There are many different types of symbiotic relationships. Some include: mutualistic, commensalistic, and parasitic. However, there are many more, that do not typically apply to our local environments.
